Black capped melanoma (Coprinus comatus)

Coprinus comatus (cap blackberry) is a fungus commonly found in Polish forests, but is often considered poisonous due to its unusual appearance. However, the young – white and closed, with no signs of blackening – fruiting bodies of the cap blackberry are edible and completely safe when cooked properly.
