BEMT, or Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenolmethoxyphenyltriazine, also known as Tinosorb S, is a chemical filter, called a “new generation” filter. Its mechanism of action is based on the absorption of UVR rays, entering the excited energy levels. The energy is then released, and the chemical molecule returns to its initial energy level.
