Composition of pumpkin seed oil

Pumpkin seed oil contains an impressive amount of unsaturated fatty acids, which make up more than 85% of its composition. The key ingredients are:

Linoleic acid (C18:2): 40-65% – acts as an anti-inflammatory and supports heart health.
Oleic acid (C18:1): 18-41% – affects skin elasticity and supports the circulatory system.
Palmitic acid (C16:0): 10-16% – supports skin regeneration processes.
Stearic acid (C18:0): 2-8% – has a protective and moisturizing effect on the skin.

The oil also contains numerous phytosterols, including cucurbitacin, known for its antiparasitic effects, as well as natural vitamins and minerals.

Pumpkin seed oil exhibits a wide spectrum of health-promoting properties. The kucurbitacin contained in the oil has an antiparasitic effect, as it paralyzes the nervous system of intestinal parasites, allowing them to be naturally removed from the body.
